Many law firms have an employment law practice but do not have the experience required to handle traditional union issues.  Not so at Much Shelist. We can handle the entire gamut of labor-management relations issues.

Our attorneys assist employers in lawfully and successfully responding to union organizing campaigns and elections. We negotiate collective bargaining agreements and represent employers in arbitrations and grievances that may arise under those agreements.  We defend unfair labor practice charges filed against employers with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Our attorneys handle representation/decertification elections; lawsuits involving collective bargaining agreements; and strikes, picketing, walkouts, lockouts, secondary boycotts, consumer boycotts, and other job actions. We also defend employers in cases brought by union-sponsored pension or welfare plans for delinquent contributions or withdrawal liability, and we counsel employers on avoiding such liability.

Our experience extends to all aspects of the due diligence process regarding labor and benefits issues, as well as providing transactional counsel in mergers and acquisitions involving workforces represented by unions.
