Andrew M. Silver
Andrew handles matters related to all aspects of corporate law, with a focus on representing privately held and family-run entrepreneurial businesses. He has extensive experience working on sophisticated transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and recapitalizations, generational transfers and partnership formations.
Clients call on Andrew for strategic advice about business operations, corporate governance, joint ventures, debt financing and executive compensation packages. His practice spans many industries, including international distribution and manufacturing, banking and financial services, transportation, digital marketing and telecommunications, sports, agriculture and food, technology, robotics, construction and logistics, food processing and insurance.
During law school, Andrew served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Leida J. Gonzalez-Santiago of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Andrew is actively involved in the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. He is on the Board of Directors for the organization's Young Leadership Division and serves as chair of the Young Lawyers Group and vice chair of the Lawyers Network.
Andrew also serves on the junior board of Keshet, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that provides services for children and adults with disabilities.
