Andrew M. Silver
Andrew handles matters related to all aspects of corporate law, with a focus on representing privately held and family-run entrepreneurial businesses. He has extensive experience working on sophisticated transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and recapitalizations, generational transfers and partnership formations.
Clients call on Andrew for strategic advice about business operations, corporate governance, joint ventures, debt financing and executive compensation packages. His practice spans many industries, including international distribution and manufacturing, banking and financial services, transportation, digital marketing and telecommunications, sports, agriculture and food, technology, robotics, construction and logistics, food processing and insurance.
During law school, Andrew served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Leida J. Gonzalez-Santiago of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Andrew serves on the executive committee for Orchard Village, a nonprofit group that provides housing and job placement for individuals with special needs and other developmental challenges. He also sits on the executive committee of the Young Lawyers Group of the Jewish United Fund.
