Much is pleased to announce that 47 attorneys have been selected as 2019 Leading Lawyers. Less than 5 percent of attorneys licensed in Illinois are honored with the Leading Lawyer designation each year. Additionally, seven attorneys were recognized as 2019 Emerging Lawyers, an award for lawyers under 40 years old or those who have been practicing fewer than 10 years. Less than 2 percent of attorneys licensed in Illinois receive the Emerging Lawyer designation annually.
The Leading Lawyer and Emerging Lawyer honors are reserved for attorneys who have proven to be of exceptional character and conveyed outstanding aptitude for the practice of law. The selection process has multiple phases involving peer nominations, independent research and review by the Leading Lawyers Advisory Board.
