Peter advises businesses and financial institutions in a variety of legal matters, including commercial financing, mergers, acquisitions and corporate governance.

Peter recently served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ronald Guzman of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. His responsibilities included researching and drafting opinions on issues that included defamation, employment discrimination, and attorney’s fees. 

While in law school, Peter received the CALI Award for highest grade in torts, constitutional law, federal income tax, legal writing, advocacy, and mergers and acquisitions. He was also a lead articles editor for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and a member of the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Team. Prior to his career in law, Peter worked in business development for a software company.

Peter currently serves as co-chair of the Much Shelist Associates Committee.

Peter has volunteered for the Chicago Legal Clinic’s mortgage foreclosure mediation program. In that capacity, he helped Cook County residents navigate the foreclosure process, including filing appearances, answers, fee waivers, and other requests. In his spare time, he competes in triathlons.
