Reid is an associate in Much's Corporate & Finance group, where he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters for closely held businesses. He represents private equity sponsors, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs across a range of industries, including food and beverage, health care, technology, energy, and manufacturing.

Reid regularly leads deal teams on private equity transactions, including add-on acquisitions for portfolio companies, and he serves as sell-side counsel for entrepreneurs and other closely held businesses. Clients call on him for guidance on complex matters such as asset and equity sales, purchases, and redemptions, as well as recapitalizations and platform build-outs. Throughout a transaction, Reid coordinates advisors and decision-makers across the deal team, keeping every workstream organized so clients can move through the process with confidence that all issues will be resolved.

While in law school, Reid was a member of the Notre Dame Law School team that finished runner-up in the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition, a simulated salary arbitration competition modeled on Major League Baseball procedures.
