Mollie is a commercial litigator who focuses on construction disputes and transactional work for owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. She brings more than 15 years of experience advising corporations, builders, developers, and insurance clients on novel and complex legal issues.
In her litigation practice, Mollie counsels businesses on how to approach, mitigate, and navigate risk with smart, long-term legal strategies. She has overseen national litigation portfolios on behalf of Fortune 500 companies as well as handled multimillion-dollar liability and breach of contract disputes on behalf of construction, insurance, environmental, and energy clients.
In her transactional work, Mollie drafts and negotiates commercial contracts on behalf of owners and contractors. She also advises on regulatory issues and compliance.
Prior to joining Much, Mollie served as assistant general counsel at McHugh Enterprises Inc. During her time at McHugh, she advised the company on a wide range of legal issues, drafted and negotiated commercial and construction contracts, developed corporate policies and effective risk strategies, and supervised ongoing litigation with outside counsel.
Much’s construction clients also rely on Mollie’s vast insurance background. Prior to joining McHugh, Mollie was a coverage litigator and worked in-house for a top international insurer developing insurance wordings and advising underwriters on coverage issues. She also obtained multistate regulatory approvals and helped launch a construction insurance platform for the company. Her work also helped the company understand and tackle emerging legal risks, including biometric legislation, environmental liability, and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) exposure.
