California Custom Fruits & Flavors Represented by Much in Sale to Peak Rock Capital

Much represented California Custom Fruits & Flavors (CCFF) in the company’s sale to an affiliate of Peak Rock Capital, a private investment firm located in Austin, Texas.

Andrew Silver, principal in Much’s Corporate & Finance group, led the sale on behalf of CCFF. A multidisciplinary team of attorneys assisted in the transaction, including Mitchell Roth, David Alman, Greg Mann, Jason LaBella, Steve Schwartz, Hajar Jouglaf, Laura Elkayam, Rebecca Kanter, Jeff London, Dave Pilotto, Julia Turk, and Jordan Plummer, with support from paralegals Ying Frey and Daisy Velasco.

“It has been a tremendously rewarding experience working with California Custom to elevate its trajectory in the fruit and flavoring industry,” Silver said. “Helping a family-owned business achieve its goals set across multiple generations underscores our longstanding commitment to entrepreneurs and to continue to foster growth in the middle market.”

Founded in 1986, CCFF is a leading developer of custom-formulated specialty ingredients and flavors for its diverse customer base of brands, retailers, and co-manufacturers across food products and channels. With this acquisition, Peak Rock Capital strengthens its position in the food and beverage industry with a direct line to CCFF’s first-rate product quality and customer service.
