Rebecca is a corporate attorney who focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, business counseling, equity offerings, and commercial loan transactions. She represents private equity firms, privately held companies, and family offices.

Rebecca works across many different industries, including infrastructure, insurance, consumer packaged goods, and hospitality and restaurants.

In her M&A work, Rebecca counsels clients through every step: transaction structuring, tax planning, and due diligence, as well as preparing and finalizing transaction documents. She also helps private equity funds capitalize on new opportunities, working with them to acquire portfolio companies, complete add-on acquisitions, handle day-to-day legal work for portfolio companies, and eventually sell those companies.

In her role as corporate counsel, Rebecca helps clients address ongoing business demands, including day-to-day operations and fiscal management, and she works with them to identify and leverage emerging opportunities. As businesses mature, she provides guidance on exit strategies and succession planning. A skilled problem solver, Rebecca enjoys finding solutions that meet client objectives.

Before attending law school, Rebecca gained experience as a culture and ethics strategist for businesses. She developed and advised clients on effective ways to design, implement, and manage ethics and compliance programs in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Rebecca serves as co-chair of the Much Associates Committee.

Much More Than My Work

I’m a former collegiate golfer with three young children, so I am constantly striving to play more golf, but I’m usually just as happy to end up at the park on the weekends instead.

I am actively involved in the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago/Jewish United Fund (JUF). I also serve in the National Young Leadership Cabinet of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).
