Rebecca is a corporate attorney who focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, business counseling, equity offerings, and commercial loan transactions. She represents private equity firms, privately held companies, and family offices.
Rebecca works across many different industries, including infrastructure, insurance, food and beverage, and legal services.
In her M&A work, Rebecca counsels clients through every step: transaction structuring, tax planning, and due diligence, as well as preparing and finalizing transaction documents. She also helps private equity funds capitalize on new opportunities, working with them to acquire portfolio companies, complete add-on acquisitions, handle day-to-day legal work for portfolio companies, and eventually sell those companies.
In her role as corporate counsel, Rebecca helps clients address ongoing business demands, including day-to-day operations and fiscal management, and she works with them to identify and leverage emerging opportunities. As businesses mature, she provides guidance on exit strategies and succession planning. A skilled problem solver, Rebecca enjoys working through complex commercial loan transactions and finding solutions that meet client objectives.
Before attending law school, Rebecca gained experience as a culture and ethics strategist for businesses. She developed and advised clients on effective ways to design, implement, and manage ethics and compliance programs in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Rebecca serves as a co-chair of the Much Associates Committee.
