Andrew Silver, principle in Much’s Corporate & Finance group, spoke with Mergers & Acquisitions about middle-market M&A volume.
Silver notes indicators of the shift, saying, “The market’s resilience has been a nice surprise. There was an expectation of deal flow to plateau, but activity has steadily grown over the last two quarters. A year ago, there was concern due to global tariffs, and that uncertainty weighed heavily on M&A in certain industries. Now that there is less volatility, buyers and sellers will get comfortable again, and the deals will start flowing.”
