Much is pleased to announce that Sterling Williams has joined the firm as an associate in the Corporate & Finance group.
Williams guides clients through both major transactions and day-to-day business matters. In his transactional practice, Williams handles lower middle-market and middle-market mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and more. He leads due diligence review, drafts core documents, and negotiates agreements for both buy-side and sell-side deals. Williams also acts in an outside general counsel role for some clients, serving as a trusted advisor with a pulse on the market and deep business experience.
Williams is a proud member of the Black Men Lawyers’ Association and the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms.
Prior to joining Much, Williams was an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. He holds four degrees from Northwestern University and is an active alumnus, remaining ingrained in the community through volunteer work and a passion for sports as a former captain of the men’s varsity basketball team.
