She regularly counsels individuals and couples on trust and estate administration, as well as estate and gift tax returns and audits. Mary is also well-versed in sales to defective grantor trusts and the establishment of family limited partnerships and private foundations.

Mary has drafted and implemented estate plans for a variety of clients, from high-net-worth individuals and young couples to domestic partners and people with disabilities. She is experienced in the creation and administration of probate estates, including claims and will contests.

Mary is a certified public accountant who, prior to beginning her legal career, worked as a CPA in the tax department of a large Chicago accounting firm.
