Michael counsels community, regional, and national banks in a variety of real estate financing transactions. His practice spans mortgage, construction-syndicated, and asset-based lending, as well as loan workouts and deed in lieu of foreclosure transactions.
Michael also handles commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial, office, and industrial leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants. He works on condominium project development, including registrations under the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act and declarations of covenants, conditions, and restrictions for multi-owner developments.
He has written articles and lectured on various real estate law topics, including title and survey review and analysis, commercial loan transactions, and the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act.
