Annie is an attorney in Much’s Commercial Litigation group based in Chicago, Illinois. Her practice spans all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment and pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and trial. She supports the firm’s attorneys and clients in preparation for trials and appeals at both the state and federal levels, as well as in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Annie’s work involves class action defense, corporate governance and control, securities, insurance, real estate, regulatory compliance, and other business disputes. She contributes to case strategy and works closely with clients to understand their objectives, translating that understanding into effective advocacy at every stage of a dispute.

Before joining Much, Annie practiced at a large law firm in Chicago, where her work included white-collar investigations, securities litigation, and commercial litigation. She also clerked for the Hon. Andre Mathis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. During law school, Annie argued two successful federal appeals as a student attorney in the University of Michigan Law School’s Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic and served as Executive Notes Editor of the Michigan Law Review.

Much More Than My Work

While I was in law school, I co-chaired the OUTreach name change clinic at the University of Michigan. I’ve also volunteered and worked as a speech and debate coach for students of all ages for well over a decade, drawing on my own experience as a former president of the top-ranked Bradley University speech team and an individual national champion in impromptu speaking.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me taking aerial silks classes and learning new tricks to perform in the air. And if you have pictures of your pets, I’d love to see them. I’m a proud cat parent myself!
