Priti Nemani and Ian Shaffer to Lead Key Much Initiatives

Much is proud to announce new leadership in two of our firm’s key internal initiatives. Attorney Priti Nemani was named co-chair of the Much Women’s Initiative, and attorney Ian Shaffer will co-chair the firm’s Associates Committee.

The Much Women’s Initiative is dedicated to the support and development of women throughout our firm, creating opportunities to build and strengthen relationships with colleagues, clients, and trusted advisors.

“As the first woman of color to serve in this role at Much, I’m honored to have the opportunity to share my experiences, and I applaud our firm’s commitment to nurturing the career progression of fellow women practitioners,” Nemani said. “I am thrilled to create opportunities for the dynamic women of our firm to connect, collaborate, and grow together and individually.”

Much’s Associates Committee collaborates to further establish the position of associates as trusted advisors to firm clients with a constant focus on professional development. Representing a cross-section of diverse backgrounds and practice areas, they serve as a voice for their colleagues to share interests, concerns, priorities, and enrichment of firm culture. Shaffer will co-chair the group alongside Rebecca Kanter.

“I’m grateful our firm’s management team has confidence that I’ll continue to enhance existing programs and introduce new ideas in this capacity,” Shaffer said. “A lot of the success an associate can achieve is predicated on developing deep relationships with their colleagues and clients by establishing themselves as reliable and dependable, and I see that as an important benchmark to our group’s success as well.”
