The firm’s Corporate & Finance practice group recently represented 4i Consulting, Inc. in its sale to Fractal Analytics, Inc., a global provider of analytics and artificial intelligence to Fortune 500 companies, with more than 1,000 employees across 12 locations worldwide. Based in Chicago, 4i Consulting is a growth and foresight analytics firm committed to helping clients uncover areas of future growth and build execution strategies to sustain it. As a result of the acquisition, Fractal Analytics will expand its consulting capabilities in the growth strategy space. 4i Consulting will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and will gain access to Fractal Analytics’ intellectual property, infrastructure and talent.
Because the buyer’s world headquarters is located in Mumbai, the Much Shelist transaction team, which included Principals Michael Shaw and David Alman, had to navigate the complexities of Indian securities laws. The deal closed on May 31, 2017.
