Karlton Woods and Dan Bronson Honored with the 2019 David T. Brown Community Service Award

Much is proud to announce that Service Center Manager Karlton Woods and Principal Dan Bronson have been honored with the 2019 David T. Brown Community Service Award. Karlton and Dan were recognized for their personal dedication to social responsibility and community outreach.

Every year, one staff member and one attorney receive the award, which was created to honor firm Co-Chairman David T. Brown and his commitment to community service. Much also makes a monetary donation to each recipient's charitable organization of choice.

Karlton was recognized for his work with Christ Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, which celebrated its 55th anniversary this past fall. Karlton is on the leadership board of the church, which provides a wide range of resources and support programs for people in the community, including school supplies, counseling, GED exam preparation, youth camps, food baskets around the holidays, elder visits at nursing homes and much more.

"The money Much is donating in my name through the David T. Brown Community Service Award is a blessing to this organization and the people we seek to help each day," said Karlton.

Dan Bronson was recognized for his participation in Perspectives Charter School's mentorship program on the southwest side of Chicago. Dan has participated in this program since 2007, mentoring more than a dozen high school students over the years. Dan also regularly participates in numerous other charitable activities including clothing drives for Cradles to Crayons and his synagogue's social action projects, including its annual Thanksgiving Day food basket project, started over 15 years ago, by his wife, Honey.
