Much is proud to announce that Marty O’Hara has been elected to the Management Committee. O’Hara, a litigator who joined the firm in 2008, will help map Much’s growth as a member of the leadership team.
“We have always believed in the power of fresh perspectives. As Much evolves, so do the voices that shape our strategic vision,” said Managing Partner Courtney Mayster. “Marty will lead our firm with a commitment to our core values. He puts the interests of our clients first. He shows up for his colleagues. He is a lawyer’s lawyer who cares about others both personally and professionally.”
A longtime firm leader, O’Hara is an equity principal who serves on Much’s strategic planning team. He keeps his eye on the future, spearheading efforts to explore AI and emerging technology as well as investing in the development of the next generation of attorneys. O’Hara previously co-chaired Much’s Commercial Litigation group. He maintains an active practice as a commercial litigator with an emphasis on defending attorneys and law firms in ethical and legal malpractice matters.
“I know many of the great people who have served on Much’s Management Committee over the years, and I see how they made our firm what it is today. To be asked to join those ranks is truly an honor,” O’Hara said.
O’Hara joins Mayster, Steve Blonder, Sheryl Jaffee Halpern, Mitchell Roth, and Michael Shaw on the Management Committee. After 10+ years of service, Greg Mann and Glenn Taxman have taken their leadership to new areas. Mann is driving efforts to optimize the firm’s billing and collections practices and ensure a streamlined experience for clients and attorneys. Taxman, who launched Much’s Newport Beach office in 2002, is leading West Coast operations and geographic expansion initiatives for the firm.
