Josh Leavitt Elected to Board of Governors of the American College of Construction Lawyers

Much is proud to announce that Josh Leavitt, co-chair of Much’s Construction group, has been elected to the Board of Governors of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL). Leavitt, who has been an active ACCL member for many years, will now serve as a leader in the organization of lawyers recognized for their professionalism and high standards of ethical conduct in construction law.

Leavitt is an accomplished attorney with more than 35 years of experience guiding companies through complex construction and design projects. Known for his deep industry knowledge, he handles disputes, contracts, licensing, due diligence, climate change liability, and risk management matters. Leavitt focuses on the middle and upper markets, representing both mid-level entities and worldwide leaders in the construction space.

“It is an honor to be elected to the Board of Governors of this prestigious group of construction law professionals,” Leavitt said. “For years, I have been inspired by their tremendous work and industry leadership, and I look forward to working together to propel both ACCL and the practice of construction law forward while giving back to the industry.”

Established in 1989, ACCL is an invitation-only organization of attorneys, professors, and judges who are proficient in the practice or teaching of construction law and dispute resolution. ACCL’s mission is to improve and enhance the practice and understanding of construction law and to promote the positive role of construction lawyers. Members of the college include lawyers from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and France.
