Attorney Glenn Taxman sat down with Law360 to discuss leading Much’s West Coast team and spearheading the firm’s geographic expansion. Much announced that Taxman had been named its West Coast Managing Partner in August 2025.
“Courtney [Mayster], our current Managing Partner, and I talked about it for a bit of time trying to map out what we thought was best for the enterprise,” Taxman said. “My skillset is going to be best used managing what’s going on here on the West Coast while also overseeing expansion process and desires here on the West Coast.”
Taxman discussed how the firm has its eye on Los Angeles, California, as well as other markets. He spoke about founding Much’s Newport Beach office in 2002, staying competitive as the landscape evolves, and maintaining his real estate transactional practice.
When asked why he loved his work, Taxman said, “It's the clients. Just like we have a great culture at the firm and great people at the firm, I have really fun clients to work with who are smart and do really fun deals. I like cutting to the chase in deals.”
