Much More Than My Work

I served as a intern for the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC), representing taxpayers with tax controversies before the IRS. I am also a member of OUTLaw, a social organization that raises awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues in the legal community.

I’m very involved in the Portuguese community. Each year, I travel to the Azores to take part in a Portuguese cultural gathering focused on feeding the local community. My family also honors our heritage by hosting an annual feast to give back to the community where I grew up.

Outside of the office, you can typically find me spending time with my Golden Retriever, Andy.
