Public Interest Law Initiative Honors Much on Pro Bono Recognition Roster for 13th Consecutive Year

Much was recently named to the 2022 Pro Bono Recognition Roster published by the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI). The roster recognizes law firms, corporate legal departments, and legal industry partners for significant pro bono contributions to those in their communities in need of legal services. PILI selected Much among only 41 other firms and corporations throughout Illinois. This accomplishment marks Much’s 13th consecutive year on PILI’s Pro Bono Recognition Roster, and the firm was honored at PILI’s Annual Pro Bono Reception on June 15 in Chicago.

Much has a lengthy history of giving back through Much Community, the firm’s social responsibility initiative. Pro bono legal services are a major component of those efforts, and attorneys from all practice groups make it a priority to take on these matters.

“Supporting our community by taking on pro bono projects is and always has been engrained in the ethos of our firm,” said Steve Blonder, chair of Much Community. “We are proud to be named to PILI’s list again this year, as it is a testament to our passion for volunteerism. Service is a core value at Much, and we look forward to continuing to serve for years to come.”
