Much Shelist today released a summary of private equity and M&A transactions the firm completed in 2014 and to date in 2015.  The deals span a range of industries, including food, health care, technology, real estate, insurance, sporting goods and publishing.

Much Shelist’s private equity attorneys represent privately held businesses, private equity funds, venture capital funds, independent sponsors and institutional investors. The team frequently works with private equity funds to acquire portfolio companies, consummate add-on acquisitions, handle day-to-day legal issues for portfolio companies and prepare companies for eventual sale.

Unlike many firms, Much Shelist does not specialize in only buy- or sell-side transactions; they represent clients on both sides, and understand the needs of both. The practice is broad-based and industry-agnostic.

“We understand the mind-set of entrepreneurs who may be embarking on the largest business transaction of their lives, as well as the private equity investors with a particular interest in entrepreneurial companies,” said Managing Partner Mitchell S. Roth. “Understanding both is a unique quality not many other firms can claim.”
