Chicago-based law firm Much Shelist recently announced leadership changes in its Business & Finance, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Real Estate practice groups.

  • David M. Pilotto, Principal, has been named Co-Chair of the Business & Finance group. Pilotto, who concentrates his practice on business transactions, general business law, commercial finance and tax law, represents a diverse group of clients, from large, privately held businesses to small entrepreneurs and start-up companies.

  • Michael B. Shaw, Principal, has been named Co-Chair of the Business & Finance group. Shaw, who also heads the firm's Private Equity practice, represents clients in connection with a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, business succession planning, strategic alliances and joint ventures.

  • Martin J. O'Hara, Principal, has been named Vice Chair of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. O'Hara concentrates his practice on commercial litigation and the defense of professionals in malpractice actions.

  • Harold S. Dembo, Principal, has been named Co-Chair of the Real Estate group. Dembo's practice emphasizes the representation of lenders, builders, entrepreneurs, investors and other parties engaged in the development and management of a wide range of industrial, commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.

  • Michael B. Viner, Principal, has been named Co-Chair of the Real Estate group. Viner handles a variety of real estate transactions, including commercial acquisitions and dispositions; tax-deferred exchanges; commercial, office and industrial leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants; condominium developments; and financing and refinancing on behalf of property owners.
