CHICAGO—July 25, 2011—Chicago-based law firm Much Shelist recently announced the addition of three new attorneys whose diverse backgrounds underscore the firm's longtime commitment to being a full-service provider of high-value legal counsel to businesses and individuals. Kevin M. Noonan joins the firm as a Principal in the Wealth Transfer & Succession Planning practice, David A. Eisenberg as an Associate in the Construction Law practice and Annabelle M. Pereira as an Associate in the Business & Finance practice.

Noonan counsels individuals and families with respect to estate and gift planning, estate and trust administration, business succession issues and asset protection. Drawing on his training as an accountant, he provides guidance on the use of wills, trusts, life insurance and business entities to help clients preserve, protect and transfer assets in a manner that helps achieve short- and long-term objectives. Noonan holds a J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati. Before joining Much Shelist, he was a Partner and Chairperson of the Estate Planning practice at Patzik, Frank & Samotny Ltd. in Chicago.

Eisenberg represents clients in disputes involving construction and design litigation. He regularly advises owners, architects, contractors and subcontractors on projects ranging from upscale high-rise condominiums to retirement homes, and in matters involving construction defects, property damage, breaches of contract, delays and mechanics liens, among other issues. Eisenberg holds a J.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. Before joining Much Shelist, he was an Associate at Lyman & Nielsen, LLC in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Pereira represents clients in corporate transactions, financings, securities and restructuring matters. She advises buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, stock and asset purchases and sales, and contributions. Pereira also counsels clients on formation, corporate governance, and compliance with corporate and industry regulations. She holds a J.D. degree from Notre Dame Law School and a B.S. from the University of North Carolina. Before joining Much Shelist, Pereira was an Associate in the Chicago office of McGuireWoods LLP.
