Michael Zalay Recognized as a Go-To Thought Leader by National Law Review

Michael Zalay, principal in the firm's Corporate & Finance group, has been recognized by the National Law Review as a 2020 Go-To Thought Leader for his articles on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

The National Law Review noted that "Mr. Zalay's analysis of PPP loan forgiveness, details on good faith certification and the certification of loan necessity emphasized the steps businesses needed to take to make the most of the program and he provides action items to help ensure compliance and loan forgiveness, providing a roadmap for survival during these difficult times."

Award recipients are selected from a pool of over 20,000 legal news articles published by the National Law Review in 2020. Only 71 authors – less than 1 percent of National Law Review contributors – were honored this year.

Michael is an accomplished corporate attorney who represents clients in a variety of business matters. He is experienced in structuring and negotiating business transactions for clients ranging from startups to established companies. Michael regularly advises clients on acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and real estate, corporate and LLC formation and governing documents, private placements, stock sale and asset purchase agreements, supplier and distribution agreements, professional services agreements, and commercial and retail leases.
