Much is pleased to announce that Matt Feery, principal in the firm's Labor & Employment group, has been named to Law Bulletin Media's "40 Under Forty" list of notable Illinois attorneys for 2021.
This marks the 22nd time Law Bulletin Media has issued its annual 40 Under Forty list, recognizing talented and passionate young attorneys in Illinois. The honorees were nominated by clients and peers based on their legal accomplishments and service to the community. Matt was selected from a pool of more than 1,000 nominations.
In his practice, Matt helps employers develop strategies and solutions to promote compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws. Clients turn to him not just for legal advice, but also for practical business advice that allows them to mitigate legal risk. One of Matt's nominators praised his intellect and communication, noting that "Even as a younger lawyer, Matt was able to grasp complicated legal arguments and distill them down so they could be easily understood by the client."
Nominators also said Matt "has a natural intellectual curiosity that makes him a very effective and trusted advisor" and "is the rare attorney who is truly calm under intense fire."
