Cheryl Cafcules and Jonathan Sherman Honored with 2018 David T. Brown Community Service Award

Much is proud to announce that legal secretary Cheryl Cafcules and Principal Jonathan Sherman have been honored with the 2018 David T. Brown Community Service Award. Both members of the firm's Commercial Litigation group, Cheryl and Jon were recognized for their personal dedication to social responsibility.

Every year, one staff member and one attorney receive the award, which was created to honor firm Co-Chairman David T. Brown and his commitment to community service. Much also makes a monetary donation to each recipient's charitable organization of choice.

Cheryl was recognized for her work with Pacific Garden Mission, a nonprofit that provides shelter and food to Chicago's homeless men, women and children. Every autumn, Cheryl organizes food drives and monetary donations to support Pacific Garden Mission during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Jon was honored for his service as president of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and Ramah Day Camp in suburban Chicago. Each summer, thousands of children, teens and staff come together at Ramah to enjoy educational and outdoor activities, develop leadership skills and create lifelong friendships. Jon attended Camp Ramah as a child and is proud to give back to the organization.

"Social responsibility is an important part of our mission here at Much," said David. "Cheryl and Jon are shining examples of how our firm engages with the community and supports causes we believe in."
