For the ninth consecutive year, Much has been named by the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) to its Pro Bono Recognition Roster. The 2018 list recognized 45 law firms and corporations for their pro bono contributions to both individuals and the community. Honorees and their achievements were highlighted at PILI's annual Pro Bono Reception on June 20 in Chicago.
Social responsibility is a key part of the culture at Much and the firm strongly believes in the importance of giving back to the Chicago community. Our attorneys support organizations such as Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) and the Center for Conflict Resolution. They also serve as general counsel for nonprofit organizations such as Shalva and Children's Oncology Services.
"We are extremely proud to be named to PILI's 2018 Pro Bono Recognition Roster," said Steven Blonder, chair of the firm's Social Responsibility Committee. "A key element of our mission is to support and advocate for causes that our attorneys and staff believe in. This recognition is a testament to our dedication and volunteerism."
