Much Shelist Named to PILI Pro Bono Recognition Roster for Eighth Consecutive Year

Much Shelist was named by the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) to its 2017 Pro Bono Recognition Roster for the eighth consecutive year. The list recognized 47 law firms and corporations for their pro bono contributions to both individuals and the community. Honorees and their achievements were highlighted at PILI's Annual Pro Bono Reception on June 21 in Chicago.

Much Shelist values giving back to the community and supports attorneys in their social responsibility and pro bono efforts. Attorneys from all practice groups regularly staff a clinic operated by Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) where they provide legal counsel for those in need. The firm also provides pro bono services to non-profit and community-focused organizations including Jewish Child & Family Services (JCFS), Shalva and Children's Oncology Services.

"We are honored to be named once again to PILI’s Pro Bono Recognition Roster," said Steven P. Blonder, Chair of the firm's Social Responsibility Committee. "Our attorneys and staff regularly dedicate their time and advocacy to a variety of community service and pro bono initiatives. This recognition underscores a core value of our firm and an important element of our culture."
