Much Shelist is pleased to announce that David M. Pilotto has rejoined the firm as a Principal in the Corporate & Finance practice group.
Pilotto, who previously interned as a summer associate at Much Shelist and ultimately practiced at the firm for 15 years, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions and general outside corporate counsel. He represents a diverse group of clients, from banks and public companies to privately held businesses, entrepreneurs and startups. Pilotto regularly advises clients on corporate governance and organizational issues and acts as outside general counsel for companies in various industries.

Pilotto rejoins Much Shelist from Lathrop & Gage, where he was a Partner in the firm’s Chicago, Denver and Boulder offices. He is a member of the American, Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations and is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Colorado. He is also a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions, International Business Law, and Middle Market and Small Business Committees of the American Bar Association and an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth. Beyond his legal practice, Pilotto serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Chicago. Pilotto earned a bachelor of business degree in accountancy from Western Illinois University and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.
