Like most other professions and industries, technology is reshaping the legal field. Steven Blonder, principal in the firm's Commercial Litigation group, was recently quoted in Chicago Lawyer's February cover story that discussed how important it is for law firms to adapt to emerging new technologies to best serve their clients. Steven noted that attorneys need to become well-versed in the tools they are using instead of relying on specialists because a lack of knowledge can make articulating cases problematic. Being able to leverage technology and artificial intelligence software in the courtroom is an expectation that is becoming normalized on all sides of the legal process.
