Harlan Kahn Talks Negotiating Hotel Food and Beverage Deals at Legal Summit

Much corporate and real estate attorney Harlan Kahn will speak at the Hotel and Lodging Legal Summit, hosted at Georgetown University Law Center from October 22-23. In his panel, titled “From Term Sheets to Table Service: Negotiating F&B Deals,” Kahn will speak to an audience of lawyers in the hotel industry about the dynamics of tri-party food and beverage management agreements. He will discuss these dynamics from the viewpoint of the operator: the restaurant company.

The discussion will focus on difficult issues that can stem from friction between the restaurant brand and the hotel brand, territorial restrictions, employment liability, intellectual property and ownership protection, data sharing, and termination consequences. It will also highlight the importance of having a capable and trustworthy restaurant partner.

Kahn is a principal in Much's Corporate & Finance and Real Estate groups who brings four decades of experience to his clients, providing strategic legal and business counsel on a wide variety of matters at every stage of a deal.
