Much Shelist recently co-hosted a CLE series with the Association of Corporate Counsel titled "Managing Up: Strategies for Success Within and Beyond the Legal Department." Held on Tuesday, March 14 at the Ivy Room in Chicago and Wednesday, March 15 at the Glen Club in Glenview, the programs examined how in-house counsel can become an indispensable asset to their C-suite colleagues and the larger organization. Our panelists shared their insights on how to navigate risk management, regulatory compliance, ethical considerations and other grey areas, while also supporting the business goals of the enterprise and "managing up" within their organization. David Brown, Co-Chairman at Much Shelist, was a panelist at both sessions, and Steve Blonder, a Principal in the firm's Commercial Litigation practice group, moderated the series.
