Much Shelist has named Gregory B. Mann to its Management Committee and elevated Gregory D. Grove from principal to equity principal. The firm also announced that Jonathan L. Loew has been promoted from special counsel to principal. In addition, David T. Brown (Firm Chairman), Steven L. DeGraff, Mitchell S. Roth (Managing Partner), Steven Schwartz and Glenn D. Taxman were re-elected to the Management Committee, which is responsible for firm governance and strategic planning. The committee members will serve a year-long term that began June 1, 2014. 

Gregory Mann serves as vice chair of the firm’s Wealth Transfer & Succession Planning group. He designs and implements estate and gift tax plans for individuals and family groups. His practice also includes implementing succession planning techniques for closely held corporations, administering probate estates, income tax planning, and preparing gift and estate tax returns. Mann earned a LL.M. and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.

Gregory Grove, head of the firm's Venture Capital group, focuses his practice on private equity, venture capital and corporate transactions and counseling. He advises funds, boards of directors, management teams, underwriters, and private and public companies during all stages of development, from entrepreneurial to established companies, operating in a wide range of industries. Grove received a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude) and a S.B. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jonathan Loew is a principal in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution group and concentrates his practice on civil trials, complex and critical motions and appellate matters. He represents lawyers and judges in cases involving professional responsibility, malpractice and ethics, and also defends banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, and related industry clients, in consumer financial services litigation. Loew holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a B.A. from Ripon College.
