Much Shelist Elevates Katherine Bonk Lewis to Vice Chair of the Business & Finance Practice Group
Much Shelist announced today that Katherine Bonk Lewis, Principal, has been elevated to Vice Chair of the firm’s Business & Finance practice group.
Lewis counsels family-owned and midsize businesses in a wide range of industries – including technology, retail, manufacturing and health care – on numerous legal and business issues that arise in the context of corporate transactions and investments. She represents acquirers and target businesses in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, stock and asset purchases and sales, and contributions. She also counsels entrepreneurs, startups and established companies on business formation, corporate governance, private equity investments and the negotiation of commercial agreements.
In addition to her transactional work, Lewis works with attorneys in the firm’s environmental, health care and intellectual property practices to identify and resolve issues that arise during the due diligence process. Among recent matters, she has helped clients draft numerous professional services, software development and supply agreements.
Lewis received a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law (magna cum laude) and a B.A. from Miami University (magna cum laude).
