Much Attorneys and Staff Raise More Than $37,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois

Much is proud to announce that our attorneys and staff raised more than $37,000 during our 2019 Make-A-Wish Illinois campaign. Our donation was made possible by the outstanding generosity of employees from across the firm and an $18,750 challenge grant from client No Simple Highway, a donor-advised fund.

For 10 years running, Much has helped grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. In recognition of our cumulative fundraising efforts, Much is a proud member of the Chris Greicius Society of Hope, which is reserved for lifetime donors of $100,000 to $250,000 to Make-A-Wish Illinois.

"Giving back is an essential part of our mission," said Steve Blonder, chair of Much Community, the firm's social responsibility initiative. "Our decade-long support of Make-A-Wish exemplifies our commitment to the causes our employees care about the most."

Paul Austin, director of Information Services, leads the firm's Make-A-Wish campaigns in honor of his daughter, a childhood cancer survivor. This year, the firm's efforts directly benefited Kate, a child whose wish was to visit Disney World and meet her favorite princesses.
