Chicago-based law firm Much Shelist announced the addition of Jennifer G. Gallinson as Director of Attorney Recruitment & Professional Development. In her new role, Gallinson will lead and support the planning, coordination and implementation of continuing legal education and attorney professional development. She will also assist firm leadership with lateral and associate recruiting.

An attorney who practiced for five years at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago, Gallinson was previously the Professional Development Manager at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, also in Chicago.

Gallinson holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan and a J.D. degree (cum laude) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She is an active member of the Professional Development Consortium, a group of individuals working at law firms, government agencies and corporations who are responsible for developing and administering training and continuing professional development for lawyers. Gallinson also serves as Co-Chair of the Advisory Committee on Training and Professional Development in Legal Aid for the Legal Aid Academy, a Chicago Bar Foundation program that provides professional development and training opportunities to legal aid attorneys.
