October 14, 2015 – October 16, 2015
Josh Leavitt, co-chair of the firm’s Construction Law practice, will give the keynote speech at the International Concrete Repair Institute’s (ICRI) 2015 Fall Convention, which will be held at the Hilton Fort Worth, TX on October 14-16, 2015. During the general session, Josh will address the irony and reality of concrete restoration projects where repair engineers and contractors often serve as witnesses for third-party disputes. His presentation, “And You Thought You Were There to Fix Someone Else’s Problems,” will give legal insight into certain business considerations and litigation and arbitration rules for those in the repair and restoration industry.
The International Concrete Repair Institute, a nonprofit association with more than 2000 members worldwide, is a leading source of education and information related to the quality, repair, restoration and protection of concrete and other structures.
