AT WORK
David A. Alman, Vice Chair of the Business & Finance group, concentrates his transactional practice in corporate law, secured lending, and corporate finance and securities. In his corporate practice, David represents a diverse group of companies in connection with significant business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. In his secured lending practice, he represents both financial institutions and corporate borrowers in commercial loan transactions.
In his corporate finance practice, David represents companies in their capital raising efforts, including private debt and equity offerings and venture capital transactions. He also handles other corporate matters, including commercial contract drafting and review, and corporate and limited liability company structuring and governance, and advises clients with respect to food labeling and advertising issues.
IN THE PROFESSION
David is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. While in law school, he was Associate Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.
