
Louis D. Bernstein Joins Much Shelist
Brings Significant Depth to Litigation, Business & Finance and
Real Estate Practice Areas
CHICAGO – November 9, 2007 – Chicago-based law firm Much Shelist announced today the addition of Louis D. Bernstein as a Principal in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Business & Finance and Real Estate practice groups. Bernstein was previously a Partner in the Litigation practice group at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP and spent the majority of his career at Gould & Ratner LLP, where he was the Litigation Department Chair and a member of the firm’s Compensation Committee.
Bernstein represents many of Chicago’s prominent entrepreneurs, real estate developers, family businesses and lending institutions in a wide variety of legal disciplines, often acting in a general counsel capacity. While maintaining a focus on Chicago, he also represents Fortune 100 companies throughout the United States and publicly traded international corporations in their business and litigation matters. Bernstein frequently appears before judges, juries, appellate courts, arbitration panels, administrative agencies and mediators throughout the United States.
