Matthew S. Miller and Cassandra M. Crane Join Much Shelist

Additions Bring Increased Depth to Growing
Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group

CHICAGO – November 12, 2007 – Chicago-based law firm Much Shelist announced today the addition of two attorneys to its growing Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. Matthew S. Miller has joined the firm as a Principal, and Cassandra M. Crane has joined as an Associate. Both were formerly with MSM Law LLC, a Chicago-based firm established by Miller to provide litigation and general counsel services.

An experienced litigator and trial lawyer who also counsels his clients extensively on general business matters, Miller began his career at Jenner & Block, where he handled commercial and criminal litigation, and tried cased before judges and juries in courts across the country. He later joined Richard J. Prendergast, Ltd., a prominent litigation and trial boutique in Chicago. Miller holds a J.D. degree (cum laude) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Crane has represented individuals and corporations in a broad range of commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts in cases involving fiduciary duty, breach of contract and employment disputes. She holds a J.D. degree from The John Marshall Law School and a B.A. degree from The University of North Alabama.

“As a team and as individual attorneys, Matt and Casey are a strong addition to the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group,” said David T. Brown, Chair of the Much Shelist Management Committee. “They bring not only considerable experience as trial lawyers but also significant depth as valued business counselors.”
